RCVUNSELF reports whether the respondent is able to take unpaid leave for own illness or medical care in his or her current job.
Respondents who can take unpaid leave on their jobs were given this question. See RCVUNPDLV.
Respondents could also report other ways they are able to take unpaid leave such as illness/medical care of another family (see RCVUNFAM), eldercare other than for illness (see RCVUNELCARE), vacation (see RCVUNVAC), errands/personal reasons (see RCVUNPERS), birth/adoption of a child (see RCVUNCHILD) or for childcare, other than for illness (see RCVUNCHCARE).
