Description
UHRSWORKT reports the total number of hours the respondent usually works per week at all jobs.
UHRSWORKT was collected at the time of the ATUS interview. However, information on hours worked was only collected at that time for respondents who changed jobs or employers since the final CPS interview, or whose earnings were allocated in the final CPS interview. For other respondents, information on hours worked was carried forward from the final CPS interview.
Information on hours worked was also collected at the time of the final CPS interview, 2-5 months before the ATUS interview. See UHRSWORK1_CPS8, UHRSWORK2_CPS8, and UHRSWORKT_CPS8.
Information on hours worked was also collected separately for the respondent's main job (UHRSWORK1) and other (second) job (UHRSWORK2). UHRSWORKT is the sum of UHRSWORK1 and UHRSWORK2.
