Description

AVGDUR is average duration of an ATUS respondent's reported activities (in minutes).

Respondents who report "Don't know" or "Refuse" responses for more than 180 minutes of their total activities are classified by the ATUS as "Refusals" (see OUTCOME or OUTCOME_ALT).

The average duration of activities reported by respondents is collected with each completed ATUS interview.

Comparability
