Description

WEIGHT provides the respondent's self-reported weight in pounds.

Female respondents were asked if they were pregnant; if so, weight is not specified and those respondents are given value 9994.

Weight was gathered during the Eating and Health Module of the ATUS interview. Analyses that include HEIGHT should use EHWT as the weight.

Comparability

This variable is comparable across years aside from changes in the topcode between 2008 and 2014.
