Description

HH_EC reports whether or not the eldercare recipient is a household member.

Eldercare can be provided in either a care facility, such as a nursing home, or in a residential home setting for a household or non-household member.

Users may refer to LINENOR for more information about line number of eldercare recipient. If the recipient is a household member, recipient's line number is the same as ATUS person number (LINENO); if the recipient is not a household member, the recipient's line number takes on the value of the next available person line number in the household (last household person number+1).
