Description

DATA_QUAL is a data quality variable used to assess the interviewer's perception of data quality. It indicates whether or not interviewers believe the data from a particular interview should be used. For interviews they suggest should not be used, they indicate the reason why.

Interviewers' perceptions of data quality is reported at the end of each completed ATUS interview.

Comparability

This variable is constant from 2003-2009 and was re-coded in 2010-2012.
