PAINMED
Description
PAINMED is a binary indicator of whether the respondent took pain medication, such as Asprin, Ibuprofen, or prescription pain medication, yesterday.
These data were collected as part of the Well-being Module of the ATUS interview. Research using this variable without activity-level quality of life data should apply WBWT as the weight in analyses; research using this variable in conjunction with activity-level quality of life data should use AWBWT for analyses.
