LOOKING indicates whether the respondent has been seeking work during the past four weeks, and if not, the reason why.

LOOKING was collected at the time of the ATUS interview. Information on whether the respondent was seeking work was also collected at the time of the final CPS interview, 2-5 months before the ATUS interview. See LOOKING_CPS8.

2003-2010: Non-employed ATUS respondents age 15 and over.
