FAMBUS_PAY reports whether the respondent receives pay or profits from the family business or farm.

FAMBUS_PAY was collected at the time of the ATUS interview. Information on whether the respondent receives pay or profits from a family business or farm was also collected at the time of the final CPS interview, 2-5 months before the ATUS interview. See FAMBUS_PAY_CPS8.

2003-2010: ATUS respondents who did unpaid work in the family business or farm in the last seven days AND household member other than respondent or the respondent's spouse/unmarried partner is/are the business owner(s).
