EARNRPT_CPS8 reports the easiest way for the respondent to report his/her income. The interviewer asked the respondent whether it was easier to report earnings hourly, weekly, annually, or some other way.

EARNRPT_CPS8 was collected at the time of the final CPS interview, 2-5 months before the ATUS interview. Information on income reporting was also collected at the time of the ATUS interview. See EARNRPT.
